When we find the one we believe to be our soul mate,
We must change inside ourselves on the way to fate.
Love is precious and can be the purest thing one can feel,
And when you find it, in truth and commitment it is time to seal.

Once I was sure, and it felt right, I needed to confess,
I asked her to marry, though we will see our times of stress.
To walk with me, and at first it would be tough,
And eventually she would see the result of a diamond in the rough.
With enough love and care, it will truly shine.
I asked her to keep me in line, and help my courage.
And when it is all finished we can both flourish.

So to her I give my all, my heart, my soul.
The ultimate promise to be her provider with love and loyalty.
I told her I will be the one to complete her... make her whole.
So I thank God for this pillar in my life and all that she will be.

*sigh

That's really beautiful. Also quite heavy and confusing. How a man can devote all his love to one woman...
It's almost like a dream come true.
